Terms and Conditions for Online Payments
Introduction
These terms and conditions apply to the customer who avails any of the services offered by Pakvolt through any of its platforms (web, app, and/or call center) by making a payment to pakvolt.com (PAKVOLT). Kindly read these terms and conditions carefully. By authorizing a payment to PAKVOLT through the online payment service ("the Service"), it would be treated as a deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. PAKVOLT reserves all the rights to amend these terms and conditions at any time without giving prior notice. It is the responsibility of the customer to have read the terms and conditions before using the Service.

The following are the terms & conditions:
- Payment(s) through this Service may be made with a Credit card, Debit card, Mobile wallets, Net Banking, or any other digital payment methods.
- Before using this Service, the Customer is advised to inquire about any charges or fees applicable to their Credit/Debit card from their respective card service provider or bank.
- The credit/debit card information supplied at the time of using the Service is processed by the payment gateway of the service provider and is not supplied to PAKVOLT. It is the sole responsibility of the Customer of the Service to ensure that the information entered in the relevant fields is correct. It is recommended that you take and retain a copy of the transaction for record-keeping purposes, as it may assist in resolving any disputes that arise from the use of the Service.
- The Customer agrees, understands, and acknowledges that their personal data, including but not limited to details related to debit cards, credit cards, and net banking, transmitted over the Internet may be vulnerable to misuse, hacking, theft, and/or fraud. PAKVOLT and the Payment Service Provider(s) have no control over such risks.
- The Service is provided through a payment gateway service provider via a secure website. However, neither the payment gateway service provider nor PAKVOLT guarantees that the information provided online by a customer is completely secure or cannot be accessed or intercepted by a third party. PAKVOLT assumes no liability for any unauthorized interception, hacking, or other unauthorized access to the information provided by a customer using the Service.
- PAKVOLT and/or the Payment Service Providers shall not be liable for any inaccuracy, error, delay, or omission of (a) any data, information, or message, or (b) the transmission or delivery of any such data, information, or message; or (c) any loss or damage arising from or occasioned by any such inaccuracy, error, delay, or omission, non-performance, or interruption in any such data, information, or message. Under no circumstances shall PAKVOLT and/or the Payment Service Providers, its employees, directors, and its third-party agents involved in processing, delivering, or managing the Services, be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, including punitive or exemplary, arising out of or in any way connected with the provision of or any inadequacy or deficiency in the provision of the Services or resulting from unauthorized access or alteration of transmissions of data or arising from suspension or termination of the Service.
- The Customer agrees that PAKVOLT or any of its employees will not be held liable by the Customer for any loss or damages arising from your use of, or reliance upon, the information contained on the Website, or any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions where such failure is due to circumstances beyond PAKVOLT’s reasonable control.
- The Customer agrees that the debit/credit card details provided by him/her for use of the aforesaid Service(s) must be correct and accurate and that the Customer shall not use a Debit/Credit card that is not lawfully owned by him/her or the use of which is not authorized by the lawful owner thereof. The Customer further agrees and undertakes to provide correct and valid debit/credit card details.
- The Customer warrants, agrees, and confirms that when they initiate a payment transaction and/or issue an online payment instruction, they are fully and lawfully entitled to use such credit/debit card, bank account for such transactions, and the details provided are accurate.
- The Customer authorizes debit of the nominated card/bank account for the Payment of fees selected by such Customers along with the applicable fees.
- The Customer is responsible for ensuring that sufficient credit is available on the nominated card or bank account at the time of payment to cover the dues or fees selected, including any applicable charges.
Cancellations of Prepaid Orders
- For any online prepaid order (e.g., product purchase or service ordering), the Customer can cancel their order without any charges up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery or service date. In such cases, we will refund the amount paid for the order subject to bank charges and other deductions by third parties.
- Order cancellation must be carried out by the Customer through the Pakvolt app or website. We do not entertain cancellation requests through phone or email.
- Occasionally, orders may be canceled or postponed by the Third-Party Service Provider (e.g., supplier, installer, or technician). Should this occur, we will attempt to contact and inform the Customer, and they may reschedule the order as per their convenience or visit the Pakvolt web/app for re-ordering.
Rescheduling of Prepaid Orders
- A Customer may reschedule their order (e.g., book a different delivery or service date and time) with the same Third-Party Service Provider for the same type of product or service, up to 24 hours before the scheduled date.
- All reschedule requests will be subject to a bank processing fee, and these charges will be applied as is to the Customer.
- In case of rescheduling, if there is any difference in the charges for the rescheduled order, we will collect the differential amount from the Customer.
Refunds
- In case an order is canceled by the Third-Party Service Provider (e.g., supplier, installer, or technician) or by the Customer, the paid amount will be refunded into the Pakvolt wallet.
- Typically, all refunds are processed within 14 (fourteen) working days from the date the refund is initiated at our end.
- Please note that we shall not be responsible for any delays in credit to the Cardholder's credit card account/account holder’s bank account due to any reasons cited by the Payment Gateway or Cardholder's issuing bank.
- You will be provided with a refund reference number for further communication with your bank.
- No refunds/cancellation requests shall be entertained in case of payment against products/services received.
- Under no circumstances will cash be refunded against any cancellation.
- Only orders canceled 24 hours before the scheduled delivery or service time will be eligible for a refund.
- For orders canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, there will be no refunds.
No-Show Policy for Scheduled Services
- If a Customer does not attend a scheduled service appointment (e.g., installation or consultation) and the Third-Party Service Provider is present for the designated time, no refund will be provided.
- This policy ensures fairness and respects the Third-Party Service Provider’s time and commitment.
No Warranty
No warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, is given by PAKVOLT in respect of the operation of the Service.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the competent courts at Lahore shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising in relation to the terms and conditions will be submitted to a sole arbitrator appointed by PAKVOLT under the provisions of the Arbitration Act, 1940, and any applicable rules thereunder. The venue of Arbitration shall be at Lahore.
Security
All payment details entered through this payment gateway are encrypted when the Customer enters them. PAKVOLT shall not be liable for any failure by the Customer making the payment to properly protect data from being seen on their screen by other persons or otherwise obtained by such other persons, during or after the online payment process.
Variations to the Terms and Conditions
PAKVOLT reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions from time to time, and the current version will be published on this website. PAKVOLT also reserves the right to decline the acceptance of an online payment without assigning any reason.
Service Delivery Policy
The PAKVOLT Platform provides a digital network that functions as a marketplace where persons (“Users”) who seek products or services (e.g., energy solutions, installations, or consultations) can be matched with Third-Party Service Providers (e.g., suppliers, installers, or technicians) who can provide the Services. Any decision by a User to make use of or accept Services is a decision made in such User’s sole discretion. Each Service provided by a Third-Party Service Provider to a User shall constitute a separate agreement between such persons. In the case of virtual services (e.g., online consultations) provided by a Third-Party Service Provider, PAKVOLT and the Third-Party Service Provider will strive to provide the best service to Users. However, PAKVOLT and the Third-Party Service Provider cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect loss to the Users arising from virtual services.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT NEITHER PAKVOLT NOR ITS AFFILIATES PROVIDE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES DIRECTLY OR FUNCTION AS A PRODUCT/SERVICE PROVIDER, OR OWN ANY FACILITY FOR SUCH SERVICES, AND THAT ALL SUCH SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY INDEPENDENT THIRD-PARTY CONTRACTORS WHO ARE NOT EMPLOYED BY PAKVOLT OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES.
